Core Understanding

Purpose:
  

The goal of this research stream is to map and understand the key records of financial institutions and to gain an understanding of their relationship to financial sector business processes, technologies and risks.

Customer Data Management Breakwater Project


CiFER is a co-investigator with Ernst & Young and JWG-IT Group Ltd, the Think Tank for EU driven IT change in Financial Services and has received seed funding from JWG-IT Group to contribute to the goals of the project.

Breakwater objective: to define the minimum operational performance guidelines for the rolling review of customer data to meet European Markets In Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID), Anti-money laundering (AML) III and Data Protection Act (DPA) requirements.
