Dr. Victoria Lemieux, Director, CiFER

is a records and risk management specialist with 20 years of practical experience in a variety of sectors and geographies. Most recently she has worked in London for a top-tier global investment bank as a records and technology risk manager. Her publications include Better Information Practices: Improving Records and Information Management in the Public Service (London: Commonwealth Secretariat, 1999), Management of Public Sector Records Series: Business Systems Analysis (London: International Records Management Trust, 2000), and Risk Management for Records and Information (Lenexa, KS: ARMA International, 2004).



PJ Di Giammarino
JWG-IT Group Limited

PJ Di Giammarino is the former COO IT at Barclays Capital, the founder and CEO of JWG-IT Group Limited, a think-tank which helps implementers of European regulatory driven IT change increase the likelihood and speed of successful implementation by recommending 80% common, market sensitive and affordable operating models.

Prior to commercialising this entity, he co-chaired the IT Subject Group of the MiFID Joint Working Group. In this capacity he collaborated with sell-side and buy-side firms, the European Commission, CESR, FSA, HM Treasury and their counterparts across Europe as well as the IT and market data supplier communities.

PJ works with all types of financial services firms to define and implement IT strategies which increase performance and reduce operational risk. He has a proven track record in running IT services while successfully executing large-scale change and counts a number of top tier firms as his clients. He has spent 14 years in management consultancy with EDS/A.T. Kearney, Booz Allen & Hamilton and McKinsey serving global companies outside the financial services industry.

He is a frequent author and public speaker on topics including EU regulation, low latency and financial services infrastructure. He serves as a Wholesale Banking Technology Innovation Award judge for the Financial Times’ The Banker magazine, the Worldwide Business Research Technology awards and the Financial News Awards for IT excellence.



Luriana Duranti
InterPARES Project

Luciana Duranti is the Project-Director of InterPARES Project, a large multinational, collaborative and interdisciplinary research project on the long-term preservation of authentic electronic records. Her research aims at finding solutions to issues concerning the creation, management and long term preservation of digital records, and the protection of their trustworthiness throughout their life-cycle.
